Did everyone see the great and sweet reaction from Bubba Watson when he won the Masters! One of my family members started to cry when he won,during his interview and when they out the green jacket on him! I think that everyone was rooting for him at the end, but who can resist Bubba! Cutest reaction of Masters so far, and can't wait to see him play again!

Economy and Golf!

I was doing a little exploring on the web and I found an article that was about the economy and what effect it had on golf! I wasn't to surprised that people aren't playing as much golf as they used to, because the cost to play a round of golf is too much. In a small town like Truckee anyone can play golf at the local course without emptying your wallet! I know that some nicer courses are very expensive and the clubs are also not cheap. Although people do buy their clubs at any sports store, like Sports Authority, at a good price for decent golf brands. Golf is a sport that people can play all their lives, so hopefully the economy gets better so people will be able to enjoy golf in their old age and enjoy it with their families!

Staying cool on the course

When I saw these pros having their tantrums it reminded me of a few people I saw on the course! I know that the sport can be extremely frustrating but there is no need to behave that way especially where manners are part of the game! These PROFESSIONALS act like this on any tour they are setting a bad example to those whom are learning the game. If you are do not have any patients at all I recommend that you either pick a different sport or learn to be civilized gentlemen!

Truckee High School's Girls Golf Team

Truckee High School's Girls Golf Team of 2011-2012 had a great season! With only a few girls on the team this year Truckee was still able to send one girl to the State Championships! The school hopes to have more girls try out next year and REMEMBER you don't need to know how to play golf!
